Removes loose pavement and debris to create a clean, solid surface to which repair material can bond.

Use a compressed air blower and wire broom to remove dirt and debris from the breach. This will improve adhesion and allow for a better seal. A jackhammer or pavement saw may be helpful for heavily damaged and deteriorating pavement surfaces.
